The Alberta Labour Relations Board has determined that Dental Assistant IIs, Registered Dental Assistants, Rehab Assistants, and Physical Therapy Assistants employed in the community health operations of Capital Health are paramedical technical employees and should be represented by HSAA. The Alberta Labour Relations Board has dismissed an application by HSAA to represent Laboratory Assistants at the University of Alberta Hospital. The workers are represented by the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees.
