Retro pay available to members who resigned after April 1, 2008
A component of the new Provincial Collective Agreement allows for retroactive pay for members who have resigned their positions after April 1, 2008.
Members who resigned their positions after that date are also entitled to a pro-rated amount of the Retention Incentive Program, another component of the new agreement that provides members with lump sum payments of $2,500 in year one and $2,250 in year two of the contract.
Application for retro payments must be received by the employer within 90 days of the Aug. 1, 2008 ratification date.
